Photo credit George Kiel III/Nice Kicks Just 22 years after we first saw a glimpse of the shoe of the future, Nike has at last made the Air Mag, the self-lacing, light-up sneaker worn by Marty McFly in Back to the Future II . It’s not the first BTTF shoe Nike has made, but its certainly the one closest to the movie-prop original, and was designed to be an exact replica. The Air Mag is also Nike’s first rechargeable sneaker.
